Today, I’m giving you my best free PDF pattern for a cute polka-dot zipper pouch. This zippered pouch pattern will make a wonderful beginner sewing project, even if you are new to sewing zippers.
Using a 1/4″ seam allowance, sew the zipper tape to the fabric. Repeat using the other 3″ X 24″ piece on the opposite zipper tape. Place the right side of a lining piece on the zipper, sandwiching the zipper between the fabrics and sew the lining to the fabric with a 1/4″ seam allowance.

Sewing vinyl is similar to sewing oilcloth or other laminated fabrics in that pins can leave permanent holes in the fabric. 12/10/2013 · I have two weaknesses — zipper pouches and clear vinyl. Combine the two and I’m hard-pressed to pass up a chance to sew one. My biggest complaint about all of the tutorials I have tried for window pouches so far is that they leave raw edges on the inside to some degree.
